For the home grower who wants to save electricity, we have a wide range of CFL energy-saving lamps at Growland. This model has a built-in ballast (VSA) and is mainly intended for the growing phase due to its colour temperature of 6,500 Kelvin. CFL economy lamps are ideal for home gardeners who have limited space for indoor growing and are also suitable for growing young tender plants such as cuttings and seedlings. Heat generation is minimal, making a CFL economy lamp a solution in the warmer months of the year and in the absence of a suitable exhaust system. If you use a CFL economy lamp, remember to buy a reflector: A standard hammerhead shade is not stable enough to hold the lamp in the right position because of its weight (also because the VSA is built into the lamp).
For best stability and light distribution, we recommend buying a Stucco reflector reinforced with cable strain relief.
Technical data:
- Power: 125 Watt
- Colour temperature 6.500 Kelvin
- Low temperature development
- High luminous intensity
- Low power consumption
- 230 Volt / E 40 socket
- Luminous flux approx. 8000 lm (lumen)
- Luminous efficacy 64 lm/W
- Dimensions of the lamp: Total length incl. lampholder approx. 37cm (only the fluorescent tubes 23 cm) / Diameter 6 cm / 8 cm incl. ballast.
Attention: Be extremely careful when screwing in the lamp as the fluorescent tubes are very sensitive. Please never touch the glass directly.
A hammer-head reflector is not suitable due to the weight of the energy-saving lamp. The energy-saving lamp cannot be held by the socket and sags, this can lead to possible Damage.
