What is All-Mix?
All-Mix literally does it all for them: it creates the optimal environment for their plants to grow throughout the year. Heavily fertilised in advance, this substrate mix replicates rich growing soil with a complete microactive ecosystem. It has been developed to provide plants with enough nutrients to achieve several weeks of lush growth without the need for additional fertilisers.
Composition:
- 20% Sphagnum peat moss
- 35% garden peat
- 10% high quality organic BioBizz worm humus
- 30% perlite
- 5% pre-mix
Contents: 50 litres
Usage
Moisten All-Mix with water when you use it for the first time and let it stand for 36 hours. This makes Pre-Mix active and the fertilisers and micro-organisms contained in the substrate start to work before the plant is placed in the soil.
Always keep the soil slightly warm, as too low a soil temperature slows down microbial activity and makes plant growth more difficult. If possible, dry out the soil once between each watering. This is because when the All Mix substrate dries out, fresh air can get in and the soil can breathe better.
In principle, soil can be reused forever if you follow these rules:
- Reuse soil only if it has not been infested by a serious pest infestation.
- Remove the top layer of soil and throw it away.
- Remove all roots and root debris if possible.
- Mix the remaining soil with potting soil or coco and a little perlite until it is back to the original amount of soil.
- Then add 50 litres of Pre-Mix and 100 litres of BioBizz worm manure per 1000 litres of potting soil.
- Mix well and evenly.
The pH and EC value
BioBizz products contain natural organic elements and not so many mineral salts like magnesium or sulphates, which are often found in synthetic fertilisers. That is why All-Mix has a high EC value (electrical conductivity). The organic elements are impossible to measure, but they have a self-regulating system that helps to keep the pH levels at the right level.
