Further Advantages of Air (CO2)

Plants that are cultivated in an aeroponic system have for the photosynthesis 100% access to the CO-concentration, which is between 450 and 780 ppm. 1600m above sea level the CO2-concentrtion of the air is at 450 ppm during the day and rises up to 780 ppm at night. Places that are not located that high, have higher values.



In that case an air-culture-system enables the plants to fully access the entire CO2 available in the air that is necessary for the photosynthesis.

The growing under light in the evening makes it possible for the aeroponics to profit from the natural sources.
