Transplant
If you have planted several seeds in a pot you have to transplant smaller sprouds into bigger containers as soon as you can grab them with your fingers. It is important to grab the roots of the plant gently - care must be taken not to damage the plant´s sensitive roots lastingly. You can either use a special wooden tweezer to dig out the seedling or you can use a longish object from your household. Just dig a small hollow into the soil and carefully plant the seedling into it´s new location.
Don´t forget to water the plant afterwards. Depending on the weather conditions you can put the plant outside for a few hours - this way the small chilis can already get used to the climate outside the house. Please do not to expose the plant to the blazing sun for too long: otherwise they might easily burn after they were put back indoors.
As soon as there is no more ground frost (be mindful that the temeprature during night shouldn´t drop below 5 degrees) you can finally transplant your chili plant into a larger pot and keep it outside from then on. The amount of space you must keep between the plants depends on the size of the plant and should average 35cm.
