AC Infinity Smart Hygrometer B1 – Precise climate monitoring

The AC Infinity Smart Hygrometer B1 is a digital climate monitor for the precise monitoring of temperature, relative humidity and VPD. An external wired climate sensor takes readings directly at the desired location, whilst you can conveniently view the current values on the backlit LCD display or via the AC Infinity app.

Particularly for indoor growing, the B1 provides you with important information about the climatic conditions in your grow box or grow room. In addition to temperature and humidity, the VPD (Vapour Pressure Deficit) display takes into account the interplay of various climatic parameters, thereby enabling a more targeted assessment of your plants’ growing conditions.

Via Bluetooth, you can connect the hygrometer to your smartphone, monitor readings remotely within Bluetooth range, set up customised alarms and analyse long-term climate trends.

Temperature, humidity and VPD at a glance

A stable climate is one of the most important prerequisites for controlled plant growth. The Smart Hygrometer B1 therefore records several relevant climate parameters at once:

• Temperature
• Relative humidity
• VPD (Vapour Pressure Deficit)
• Daily maximum values
• Daily minimum values

This not only allows you to identify the current conditions, but also to understand how much temperature and humidity fluctuate throughout the day.

Such differences can be particularly significant during the light and dark phases. The min/max display helps you identify problematic fluctuations more quickly.

External climate sensor for measurements taken directly at the plants

Instead of measuring temperature and humidity solely at the display’s location, the AC Infinity B1 features an external wired sensor.

This allows you to position the sensor exactly where the climate readings are relevant to you – for example, at the level of the plant canopy inside the grow box – whilst the display is mounted in a more accessible location.

The steel alloy temperature probe ensures precise and rapidly updated readings.

VPD for more targeted climate control

The Vapour Pressure Deficit (VPD) describes the relationship between temperature and humidity and is an important metric for assessing the plant’s microclimate.

The B1 allows you to monitor the VPD by taking into account ambient temperature, relative humidity and the measured leaf temperature.

This provides you with additional information on how current climatic conditions may affect your plants, allowing you, for example, to adjust ventilation, humidification or dehumidification accordingly.

Bluetooth & AC Infinity App

The B1 Smart Hygrometer can be connected to the AC Infinity App via Bluetooth. This gives you significantly more options than a traditional digital hygrometer.

Via the app, you can, amongst other things:

• monitor current climate readings
• set custom alarm thresholds
• receive push notifications in the event of climate fluctuations
• calibrate temperature, humidity and VPD readings
• view historical readings as graphs
• export climate data for further analysis

The CSV data export is particularly useful. It allows you to document long-term climate trends and analyse the recorded readings further outside the app.

Important: The connection is made via Bluetooth. The B1 therefore does not offer standalone Wi-Fi remote monitoring from any location.

Backlit LCD display

Even without a smartphone, you can read the key readings directly on the device.

The clear backlit LCD display ensures that the readings remain easily legible even in poor lighting conditions.

There are several placement options available. The B1 can be:

• placed on a flat surface
• mounted on a wall
• attached magnetically

This allows you to position the display flexibly either inside or outside your grow area.
