AC Infinity UIS Control Plug – Control plug for plug-in appliances

With the AC Infinity UIS Control Plug, you can integrate conventional plug-in appliances into your AC Infinity UIS climate control system. The adapter connects compatible devices such as humidifiers, dehumidifiers, air conditioners or fans to the CONTROLLER 69 PRO or CONTROLLER AI+, enabling them to be switched on and off automatically.

The principle is simple: the UIS Control Plug sits between the socket and the appliance. It is connected to the compatible AC Infinity controller via the supplied 3-metre-long UIS cable. The controller can then automatically switch the power supply to the connected appliance on or off.

This allows you to integrate even appliances without their own UIS connection into the climate control system of your grow setup.

Integrating conventional devices into the UIS system

Not every device in your grow room has an AC Infinity UIS connection. This is exactly why the UIS Control Plug was developed.

Instead of controlling the connected device digitally, the adapter switches its power supply on or off. When used in conjunction with the CONTROLLER 69 PRO or CONTROLLER AI+, this allows you, for example, to respond to changes in temperature and humidity.

Depending on the controller, automations are available based on:

• Temperature
• Humidity
• VPD
• Timers
• Schedules
• Programmed cycles

This allows you, for example, to switch on a humidifier automatically when the humidity falls below a set value, and switch it off again as soon as the desired range is reached.

Which devices are compatible?

A particularly important point: the UIS Control Plug works only with devices that start automatically as soon as they are powered up.

A simple test will help you with this:

Switch on the device in question and then unplug it. If you plug it back in and the device starts operating automatically without you having to press any buttons, it is generally suitable for this type of control.

If, on the other hand, you have to press a power button or another switch after every power interruption, the UIS Control Plug cannot start the device automatically.

• Heating mats for seedlings

Actual suitability always depends on whether the device in question starts up automatically once the power supply is restored.

Important note regarding high-power devices

Not every device should be controlled by frequently switching the power supply on and off.

Do not use the UIS Control Plug with high-power devices which, due to their design, are not intended for rapid or frequent switching cycles. According to the manufacturer, unsuitable use can lead to overheating, melting and, in the worst case, a fire hazard.

It is therefore not just the adapter’s maximum electrical load capacity that is crucial. The connected device itself must also be suitable for the intended method of on/off control.

Automatic climate control with CONTROLLER 69 PRO & AI+

The UIS Control Plug really comes into its own when used in conjunction with an AC Infinity CONTROLLER 69 PRO or CONTROLLER AI+.

The connected appliance is integrated into the UIS platform and can be used alongside other compatible devices for climate control.

For example, you can operate a humidifier based on humidity levels, switch a fan on or off according to temperature readings, or automate other compatible devices using fixed schedules.

This enables significantly more precise climate control without having to operate each device manually one by one.

Control and monitoring via the AC Infinity app

When used with a Wi-Fi-enabled compatible controller, you can monitor and control your grow setup via the AC Infinity app.

Depending on the connected controller, you’ll have access to features such as climate triggers, schedules, timers and cycles. In addition, data history and alerts can be accessed via the app.

This means you can check how conditions in your grow room are developing, even when you’re out and about.

3-metre UIS cable included

The package includes a 3-metre UIS cable for connecting to a compatible AC Infinity controller.

The generous cable length makes installation easier, particularly when the socket, connected device and smart controller are located in different positions inside or outside the grow tent.
