Carbon Active 1000ZL Activated Carbon Filter - High-Tech from Switzerland

The Carbon Active is a revolution in the field of activated carbon filters. It filters all odours 100% out of the air.

The low weight and the small design are a huge advantage, especially in small rooms.

The new design enables odour absorption of up to 3000 cbm of air per hour, with a size and weight reduction of up to 50% compared to conventional activated carbon filters. This performance is achieved by optimising the activated carbon. The activated carbon particles, which are only 0.4-0.8 mm in size, have a surface area that is a hundred times larger than conventional activated carbon for the same weight. This increases the performance of odour neutralisation with a minimum of filter weight and size.

These high-tech filters offer convincing advantages over conventional activated carbon filters:

The pre-filter acts as a coarse and fine dust filter and retains all dirt particles larger than 0.4µm (0.0004mm) so that the pores of the activated carbon are not clogged. Accordingly, the filter should never be operated without a pre-filter, as this would severely impair its quality and service life.

In order to achieve the longest possible service life of the filter, the manufacturer gives the following instructions:

• Never smoke near the filter. Cigarette smoke reduces the service life of the activated carbon the most.
• The filter must never be used without a pre-filter.
• The pre-filter must be changed regularly (min. every two months).
• The specified cubic capacity of the filter must never be exceeded.
• The filter must be operated at a minimum of 25% of the cubic capacity.
• The air humidity should not permanently exceed 65%.
• When cleaning rooms, the filter must not be in operation in order to prevent large amounts of dust or even concrete dust from being sucked in.
• The filter must not come into contact with water under any circumstances.
