Bionova BN-Zym – The substrate energiser for clean, active root zones

Bionova BN-Zym is a highly effective, vegan enzyme and biocatalyst that activates your substrate, releases nutrients and sustainably improves the root zone. Through the targeted activation of microorganisms, organic residues are broken down and converted into directly available nutrients – for healthy plants and maximum efficiency in your grow.

BN-Zym ensures better oxygen supply in the substrate, increases water storage capacity and reduces the soil tension of the water. Particularly practical: the flushing process can be shortened from up to two weeks to just a few days. Ideal for soil, coco and reused substrates.

What is Bionova BN-Zym?

BN-Zym specifically increases bacterial activity in the substrate. Dead root residues, organic waste and nutrient residues are enzymatically broken down and made available to the plant again. At the same time, the substrate remains airy, oxygen-rich and biologically active – ideal conditions for a strong root system.

Ingredients & effects

Enzymes & active ingredients:

• Xylanase – breaks down plant cell components and makes nutrients available
• Beta-glucanase – supports cell division, flower formation & stress resistance
• Cellulase – breaks down cellulose into usable sugars, promotes soil life
• Other enzymes: pectinase, amylase, cellulase

Organic soil improver:

• 0.5% phosphorus pentoxide (P₂O₅)
• 0.27% potassium oxide (K₂O)

All ingredients are vegan, organic and free from animal additives.

When should you use BN-Zym?

• From the first week of growth to the last week of flowering
• Suitable for all substrates and irrigation systems
• Can be combined with all Bionova fertilisers and stimulators
• Ideal for reusing soil or coco

Application and dosage

Application via irrigation

• 5–10 ml per 10 litres of water
• Use continuously with every watering
• Not suitable as a foliar spray

Apply BN-Zym directly to the substrate – this is where the enzymes are most effective in the root area.
