Which plants benefit from CANNA Bio Terra Plus?
All plants that like a slightly acidic environment feel particularly well in Bio Terra Plus. These are all coniferous plants as well as the wonderfully flowering azaleas, rhododendrons, hydrangeas, camellias and some more. CANNA Bio can also be used to improve and enrich old, tired and weak soil for potted plants. This substrate also provides older soil with new energy and strength. No matter whether in the tub or in the garden beds, this power soil brings new momentum into the plant life due to its valuable ingredients!
What is in CANNA Bio Terra Plus?
Bio Terra Plus consists exclusively of certified, 100 % organic ingredients. It complies with the international standard for organic cultivation and is composed of high-quality peat, bark and coco materials. In addition to the air-permeable structure of the white peat, the substrate has a completely natural mould-killing effect.
The ingredients of CANNA Bio Terra Plus in detail:
1. Peat
The white peat used complies with the strictest quality regulations and can only be found in very few places in the world. Its longer fibre structure gives the white peat optimal permeability for moisture and air. This means that the soil substrate does not stick together like so many others, but keeps the roots of your plants healthy and vital.
2. Bark
Bio Terra Plus contains a high-quality bark substrate. This prevents the spread of harmful mould cultures. Lower quality bark, which is often added to cheap plant soil, often transmits harmful pathogens.
3. Coco
In addition to bark and peat, our plant substrate also contains coco. This natural material is of very good quality. We use a special sterilisation method that preserves the spongy, unique structure of our coco material. The result is excellent water and nutrient retention.
4. A light addition of fertiliser
Bio Terra Plus is enriched with highly effective, organically certified ingredients. These include bone meal and bat guano as well as various natural trace elements for optimal plant nutrition.
The plant substrate keeps water and nutrients in stock
The addition of fertiliser in our plant substrate can be called up individually by the plants. If not enough nutrients are supplied through normal plant fertilisation, the plants can absorb nutrients from our soil substrate. If these nutrients are not used up, they remain longer in the plant soil. This plant food can then be tapped by the plants at a later time.
Due to the balanced composition of Bio Terra Plus, you no longer need to worry about PH and EC values - this potting soil takes care of everything by itself.

The soil CANNA Bio Terra Plus is not suitable for cuttings/seedlings, for this we recommend CANNA Terra Seedmix.
