CANNA Flush - Disposes of excess nutrients and minerals in plants and substrates
CANNA Flush is an additive that removes excess nutrients from substrates and plants. CANNA Flush is good to use in case of over-fertilisation. This additive disposes of all excess fertiliser residues in the substrate without killing the beneficial bacteria and fungi. When CANNA Flush is used just before harvesting, there are no excess substances left in the substrate or in the plant and this ensures that the harvest is clean and tasty!
Why use CANNA Flush?
- No undesirable effects on the taste of the crop by "flushing away" all excess minerals from the crop and substrate.
- Can be used on all types of substrates.
- CANNA Flush is better than flushing with, for example, osmosis water or demineralised water, because everything is "killed", including the good bacteria.
- CANNA Flush is biodegradable.
- Prevents damage to plants in case of (accidentally) increased minerals in substrates.
How to use Canna Flush? Mixtures with and without soil:
- Dilute 20 ml of concentrate with 10 litres of water (1:500). Water the plants until the concentrate runs off.
- Water plants once according to the normal watering frequency with normal tap water until it runs off.
- Then follow the normal fertiliser routine.
Hydroponics (open systems):
- Add diluted FLUSH (40 ml to 10 litres of water, i.e. a dilution of 1:250) to the last fertiliser of the day until about 10 to 20 % run-off has been achieved.
- Water plants once with normal tap water until it runs off.
- Start adding the next day according to the normal fertiliser routine (at 10 to 20 % run-off).
Before harvest (annual crops only)
- Start one to two weeks before harvest and apply the ratios and procedure as above once a week.
- Continue with this during harvest according to the normal fertiliser routine.
Reuse of inactive substrates
CANNA Flush is ideal for cleaning inactive substrates (such as expanded clay). Add diluted CANNA FLUSH (40 ml to 10 litres of tap water). Soak for 24 hours and then rinse with the same amount of tap water. Repeat if necessary.
