Developed in California over 30 years ago by GH USA founder Lawrence Brooke, CultiMate® L (AquaFarm), with its smaller brother CultiMate® S (WaterFarm), remains the best-selling of our hydroponic systems to this day. With both, the nutrient solution is pumped up from a reservoir, where it drips onto the expanded clay substrate and trickles back down along the roots. Thanks to this simple, reliable and highly efficient principle, the plants get exactly what they need for growth and flowering: food optimally enriched with oxygen. At the same time, the two-part design ensures that both the reservoir and the roots are easily accessible, which is difficult and sometimes impossible with many other systems.
