Description

CANNA COGr Buffer Agent

Special solution for soaking and buffering CANNA COGr mats. Specially developed by CANNA for the pre-treatment of this planting medium.

The CANNA COGr fertiliser series was developed for what has become the most popular method of growing on coco mats. Compressed, unbuffered Coco Mats form the basis of this system. The grower needs to soak the mats in the special COGr Buffering Agent before use and then fertilise with COGr Vega during the growing phase. Finally, in the flowering phase, it is necessary to switch to COGr Flores. COGr Vega and COGr Flores contain humic and fulvic acids, which promote nutrient uptake, as well as silicone for better resistance to diseases and pests.
If you want to use this system in pots, you should buffer the mats normally and then fill them into pots. Each mat makes 21 to 25 litres of uncompressed coco.
1 litre of COGr Buffering Agent is diluted in 500 litres of water, one application per crop. A 2 litre pack of COGr Nutrients (1 litre A, 1 litre B) will give up to 250 litres of full strength nutrient solution. Universal formulation for hard and soft water.

Usage

  1. Shake bottle well before use
  2. Fill the nutrient solution container with water
  3. Add COGr Buffer Agent to the nutrient solution tank in a ratio of 1:500 (200 ml per 100 litres of water)
  4. The EC of fertiliser dissolved in tap water: COGr Buffer Agent varies between 1.5 - 1.8 mS (= EC of the solution plus EC of the water)
  5. Recommended pH value: 5.5 - 6.2
  6. Let the swollen COGr substrate rest for at least 24 hours before draining the water.

Important note

NEVER mix A and B components together undiluted. This creates insoluble compounds that cannot be absorbed by the plant. Store the fertiliser protected from frost in a dark, safe place. (UV light can decompose the iron chelates present in the nutrient solution).
