Description

The GCx4 PWR is the smallest version of the seriesx PWR with a maximum power consumption of 160 W. This makes the full-spectrum LED ideal for areas up to 80 x 80 cm. The compact module has two dimmer controls that can be used to adjust the intensity of growth and the flowering spectrum separately.

The GCx4 PWR was developed as the best choice for growers who are looking for maximum cultivation results in the mid-price segment. Replaces the light output of a 250W sodium vapour lamp.

A broader light spectrum

As already with Greenception's previous models, the X-Series naturally continues to invest in even more effective extension of the light spectrum with UV and Far-red (from 365 to 780 nm)

Accelerated root growth

Activate the growth phase mode specifically on the X-Series and maximize the utilization of UV light. But what is the purpose of UV light? well, numerous studies have demonstrated that elevated levels of UV light contribute to enhanced growth and development of plant roots by providing additional stimulation.

Increased photosynthesis rates

In fact, adding only red light in an LED module has long since failed to meet the requirements and expectations of indoor growing under LED lights. Thanks to the additional Far-red spectrum (and at Greenception they have been adding it since 2015), plants can finally develop their full photosynthetic potential under artificial light. Plants use photosynthesis to make nutrients that attract beneficial bacteria to the roots to help the plant in its development. It also helps enrich the medium with oxygen. So you can imagine the effects of increased photosynthetic potential: Plants with more active ingredients and terpenes, more vigorous growth and flowering spurts, and higher yields of measurably better quality.

Clever lighting concept

The conventional method of home cultivation typically involves using a grow tent or grow box along with traditional lighting options such as HPS, CMH, or MH lamps. Greenception has taken this traditional approach as a starting point in the development of its LED grow lights with the X-Series. These lights offer uniform illumination across the growing surface through the use of LED bars, providing a more efficient and cost-effective transformation of energy into light. For optimal results, the recommended distance between the top of the plants and a GCx4 LED is between 30 and 40 centimetres, depending on the specific crops being grown. Adjusting this distance allows for easy customization to find the perfect positioning for different types of crops.

Stepless dimmer with two settings

Imagine having the ability to independently dim and adjust two distinct light spectra with the X-Series LED grow lights. Finally, this is now achievable. You might be wondering about the purpose of such a feature. Well, for both the growth and flowering phases, a specific adjustment or setting is available, allowing you to tailor it to the current cycle in your grow box. You have the flexibility to dim and switch between spectra as needed. Unlike conventional LED grow lights that require you to raise the lamps depending on the stage of your crops, the GCx models allow you to simply dim the LED grow light to the appropriate setting. This not only provides convenience but also leads to up to 30% reduction in power consumption. As if they weren't already energy-efficient enough!

The growth phase setting:
The growth phase mode of the X-Series LED grow lights primarily emphasizes the blue light spectrum. This specific spectrum has been shown to have significant effects on reducing internode distances, resulting in the growth of more compact plants with denser foliage. Furthermore, by incorporating additional UV light in this mode, there is a measurable increase in root formation, promoting more efficient and robust root development.

The flowering phase setting:
The flowering phase mode of the X-Series LED grow lights features a predominantly red light spectrum, which can be likened to the sunlight experienced during autumn. Notably, this mode incorporates a substantial amount of Far-red light, leading to an unparalleled stimulation of plant photosynthesis. The presence of Far-red light in this mode helps to optimize the flowering process and promote robust growth in plants.

Smart install

Maximum freedom in mounting and individual lighting!
The newly developed suspension system for GCx lamps offers a variety of options. The innovative Smart Install® rail enables lamps, including light profiles that can be separated from the driver box, to be directly fixed to the ceiling. For effective operation, a distance of just two centimetres between the heat sink on the light profile and the ceiling is sufficient, as long as proper air circulation is established in the grow room. This close proximity makes the X-Series particularly suitable for environments with low ceilings, such as vertical farming setups and growing rooms for cuttings and young plants. In some cases, even a few centimetres can make a significant difference when creating the ideal growing environment. With Smart Install®, you not only save time but also vertical space.
